Ordering
Once you have placed your order, you will receive an automatic e-mail confirmation acknowledging your order placement. Once your order is approved you will receive a notification e-mail with the expected date of delivery and a call from us within 24 hours.
Order Cancellation
You may cancel your order as long as your order is in process. If your order has been shipped, you cannot cancel your order. To cancel your order, please call us at (65) 9128 7134.
Item Availability
All Starlet merchandise is subject to availability. We pride ourselves on keeping sufficient stock of our merchandise; however, sell outs do occur. If you order an item that is out of stock or delayed, we will notify you of the situation via e-mail and will try our best to inform you of the next delivery date.
Delivery
- We offer personal delivery at a standard rate of $4.00. Payment for this mode is to be included when item is paid.
- Delivery can also be arranged via regular SingPost mail service. Charges are based on final package weight and size and take approximately 1 – 2 business days to arrive at your doorstep
- Registered Mail – this can be arranged at an extra charge of S$2.25. Please include your request in your order. Registered mail gives you a tracking number, and takes 1 – 2 more business days than regular mail. Do note that someone will need to sign for the package upon delivery. If no one is available to sign for the package, the postal service will leave a notification with further instructions for pick-up or re-delivery, and it is the customer’s responsibility to follow through in obtaining the package.
- We will only deliver the item once payment has been successfully approved.
- Starlet will not be responsible for goods lost or damaged in the postal process.
Payment
For local online purchases, we accept payment by:
1. Bank transfer (preferred) — via ATM or internet banking to our POSB account.
2. Local cheque — crossed, in Singapore Dollars. Please note that orders by cheque payment usually take slightly longer due to the time required to receive, deposit and clear the cheque. As such please allow a few extra days for processing.
Alterations
Alteration services are available for Starlet purchases from Odette. We do not provide alterations for online purchases but can provide you with details of our recommended list of tailors.
Returns & Exchange Policy
At Starlet, we seek to ensure a smooth customer experience. Hence, except for some styles which are seasonal merchandise, we will gladly accept returns within 5 calendar days. This policy applies to items bought online from Starlet only. Starlet items bought through our stockists will be subject to stockists’ policies.
Items MUST BE RECEIVED WITHIN 5 DAYS in order for a refund to take place. Items may be returned for a full refund, less shipping costs, based on the original form of payment within those 5 days. All exchanges are subject to item availability. For further information on exchanges, please see the Exchange section below.
All items must be returned in original condition. Returns are inspected upon receipt. Items must not have been worn, washed, altered, etc. and have all originals tags attached. Items with snags, rips, make-up stains, odors (i.e. cigarette smoke) or other damages will result in the item being returned to you.
Kindly note that Starlet has the right to refuse return of goods that do not meet our return policy requirements.
Any SALE items marked are not eligible for returns or exchanges.
Exchanges
Once we receive your item for exchange, we will send you your new order at no additional cost. If your exchange is for the same dollar amount as the original purchase, no additional shipping charges will be incurred. If your exchange exceeds the dollar amount of your original purchase, you will be responsible for the additional shipping charges. As soon as we have shipped the item, you will receive an e-mail notification as well as a call from us.
Please Note: Your exchange item may be out of stock by the time your order is received. If your exchange is out of stock, a refund will be issued or store credit given. Store credit must be utilized within 30 calendar days.
How to Exchange/ Return
Email us at dressme@starletdresses.com with your name & address, invoice number, details of the product and your reason for return. We will then advise you on how to proceed with the return and item replacement. Please notify us and wait for our approval and instructions before shipping an item back to us.
